Steve Weisman


In the court house and on the radio:
With a law degree from Boston College Law School, Attorney Steven J. J. Weisman has a general law practice specializing in estate planning. In addition to practicing the law, from 1982 through 1999 Attorney Weisman was a talk show host on Boston radio station WRKO and now he provides weekly legal commentaries on the nationally syndicated Doug Stephan Good Day Show. Steve is also host of the syndicated radio show "A Touch of Grey" heard throughout the country. Along with co-host Ginger Applegarth, he hosted on the radio show "Live Money" on Business 1060 radio in Boston which received the AIR award as best afternoon radio show in Boston for 2001. Attorney Weisman has also taught at the University of Massachusetts, Curry College, and Boston University. Presently he is an adjunct faculty member at Bentley College. Steve is the author of 'A Guide to Elder Planning' and '50 Ways to Protect Your Identity and Credit'.

Recognized in the legal community:
Attorney Weisman is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, an honorary organization whose membership is limited to no more than 2% of the members of the Massachusetts bar.

Attorney Weisman is the legal editor and a columnist for Talkers Magazine and has received a Certificate of Merit from the American Bar Association for excellence in legal journalism. He has also authored numerous articles on legal matters for various periodicals including the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, US Air Magazine and Playboy magazine.

Warren Baker


Warren F. Baker heads the firm's corporate practice. For over 26 years he has concentrated in the areas of business, tax, real estate and estate planning.

Attorney Baker serves as corporate counsel to numerous business organizations of varying size and type, both profit and not-for-profit organizations. His tax practice includes tax planning, mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations, as well as representation before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

As general counsel, Mr. Baker has been actively involved in corporate and transactional law, intellectual property and licensing matters.

In addition to corporate counsel duties, Mr. Baker sits as director on a number of organizations and served on the Marshfield Zoning Board of Appeals for many years, and is Chairman of the Board of Overseers of the Bustins Island Village Corporation, a Maine quasi-municipal Corporation.

Mr. Baker continues his involvement in real estate with bank and borrower representation and representation before local zoning and land use boards, including Comprehensive Permit representation.

Mr. Baker's estate planning practice involves family, business and Medicaid planning.

Attorney Baker has written and lectured at seminars and at local colleges and law schools on topics involving taxation, business organizations and planning, estate planning and intellectual property law.

Mr. Baker received his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from Cornell University in 1971 and his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1975. In addition to the state bar of Massachusetts, he is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court and the United States Tax Court. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Business Law Section and a member of the Committee on Taxation and is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Brendan King


Brendan J. King has been a Partner at Fusaro, Altomare & Ermilio since 2000. He chairs the Estate, Business & Tax Planning - Estate & Trust Administration Department. As a Partner, he has participated in major decisions regarding the firm’s business strategies and built the department that he now leads. Brendan has also contributed to helping build a team of exceptional attorneys who deliver innovative solutions for FA&E’s clients. He joined the firm in 1997.

Brendan has extensive experience in the complexities of estate planning and probate matters and in managing the administration of trusts and estates. Additionally, his Master’s of Law studies in taxation uniquely position him to understand and respond to important tax consequences fundamental to estate planning. His practice focuses on trust and estate administration, estate planning, tax planning, business and succession planning, and disability and elder law. He is an innovator and helping clients gain the winning edge is his goal.

Brendan earned his Bachelor’s degree at the College of the Holy Cross. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk University Law School and his LL.M. degree from Boston University School of Law.

Brendan is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association where he serves on the Tax Subcommittee. He is a member of the Worcester County Bar Association and serves on its Estate & Business Planning Council. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

In keeping with FA&E’s commitment to community involvement, Brendan serves on the Boards of Directors for many organizations including the Vuona Charitable Foundation, Foothills Theatre, Mohegan Council-Boy Scouts of America, and Soul Advocate, Inc. Brendan is a member of Worcester Art Museum's Stephen Salisbury Society and its Members' Council. He is a member of the Worcester State Foundation of Worcester State College Board.
